Unlocking Everyday Magic: Why I Created the Arcane Hair Collection

At Iris Dahlia Apothecary, every product tells a story. From dragon-inspired bath bombs to celestial facial steams, I’ve always believed that self-care should feel like a ritual—one that’s just as magical as it is practical. That same spirit sparked the creation of the Arcane Hair Collection—but it also came from a much more personal place.

For years, I’ve struggled with seborrheic dermatitis, a chronic scalp condition that can cause itching, flaking, irritation, and inflammation. Like many others, I tried countless shampoos and treatments that left my scalp feeling stripped or my hair feeling weighed down—rarely offering long-term relief, and almost never formulated with natural ingredients I trusted.

That frustration led me down a path of research, formulation, and (lots of) trial and error. I started blending herbs, oils, and essential oils known for their calming, anti-inflammatory, and balancing properties—not just to soothe my scalp, but to nourish my hair at the same time. What began as a personal solution soon turned into something I wanted to share.

The Arcane Hair Collection was born from that experience—a fusion of herbal wellness and fantasy, where every ingredient is chosen with both purpose and a little enchantment.
